James was born to be a storyteller.  At an early age, he began making innovative videos, allowing his creative instincts and passion for storytelling to develop.  What was once his childhood hobby became an undeniable career path to pursue.

      James earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communication at The University of Tampa where he was awarded the coveted Protivin Film Prize, the highest honor within the Communication department at the University.  James then decided to further his education by attending Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida, where he fine tuned his skills in film production and editing.  Upon graduation he relocated to New York City, beginning a twenty-year long career as lead editor with Transition Productions, one of the preeminent extreme sports entertainment companies in America.  While at Transition he worked  on shows like Summer and Winter X GAMES, American Daredevils, MTV's Ultimate Parkour Challenge, Paranormal Challenge, Ford's Octane Academy and the acclaimed sports reality series, NBC's Spartan Race. 

     In 2018 with twenty years of editing experience and two Emmy nominations under his belt, James relocated to Los Angeles, California to continue the pursuit of his childhood dream.  Since becoming an Angeleno, James has worked on shows like Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge, Summer and Winter Dew Tours, XBOX Live programming and various commercials and documentaries. 
      Whether it's feature films, reality TV, documentaries, commercials, or web and social media content, his work consistently showcases his skill for storytelling with a flair for creating exciting visuals.  James integrates ideas clearly while collaborating in team atmospheres and can also morph into a "preditor" role when asked to work without supervision.  He’s valued most for his speed, dependability and organization while thinking out of the box, not only to meet but exceed client expectations.
